Tis the season!

A few pics from another holiday party in Rancho Sante Fe this one however had a Mexican Fiesta theme . . . FUN! We used orange calla lilies, red freedom roses, dahlias, green mini hydrangea and hidden in there are peppers! OLE!

Tis the season!

Holiday parties are always a favorite of mine to do not only because I love the season, but its such a fun time of year to design with the rich colors and the lovely smells and looks of Christmas greens. At a private home in Olivenhein we used traditional colors but incorporated some unexpected elements like kale and cranberries that gave each arrangement a little flair. With subtle gold linens, a warm fire place, loads of candles, and great food the evening was just perfect.

Limes, Oranges, and Blue OH MY!

On a warm day in September an oasis was created at a private estate in east San Diego. It was a truly unreal home and perfect for a large soiree of 300 if you can believe that! With the fabulous planner Angie Metts of Absolutely Events overseeing the days every detail the day went of without a hitch thanks to her! Bride Cara let us design fun, casual yet elegant arrangements that perfectly fit her summer outdoor reception! hopefully more pics to come!

so fresh!

With the modern Ivy hotel providing the perfect venue, bride Shay was envisioning fresh table arrangements that would combine with her black, green and white color scheme to set the perfect ambiance. And with loads of candle light, and simple yet stunning florals of white hydrangea, green cymbidium orchids and green spider mums we accomplished just that! MANY thanks to Zelo Photography for capturing such stunning images and of course coordinator Victoria Schroeder for overseeing the days every detail.

Pretty in Pearls

Little did I know I would be reminded of this wedding months and months after it was over! With a classy "pearl" theme . . . Mother of the groom Freema must have wiped out the city of pearls we truly had them everywhere. Although hard to see in pictures we had the tall arrangements with cascading strings of pearls sitting in boxes of pearls as with the other centerpieces. It looked very cool but . . . I would find little rolling pearls everywhere after this was long over . . in my car, in buckets and drawers at the shop, in my pockets literally EVERYWHERE. Anyway :) It was so beautiful and such a pleasure to work with this family. And of course special thanks to Hung C. Tran for the gorgeous photos.

Perfect Ponte

A perfect day at Temeculas Ponte Winery set the stage for one of the best weddings I have had the opportunity to work on. Every detail was just right on and the vintage, "anthropology" theme that the bride envisioned just came to life with the damask runners, vintage frames, bird cages and sweet little extras that the mother of the bride work so hard on. And the very handsome groomsmen just made my day :) Photographed by the talented Dana Grant
